If your hair is fine or needs a little more body and lift I think it is worth the try. Depending on you hair and the style looking to achieve spray on damp hair, initially blow dry upside down then smooth over with a round brush.

For maximum volume that holds pretty well throughout the day without looking like a helmet head; the hairspray can be used on towel-dried hair at the roots as well.
